The Great
Retirement Rescue

A complimentary live webinar for people who are retired or within about ten years of it. You invite. We teach, follow up and help you turn attendees into planning conversations, with credit to you at every step.

  • Every other Wednesday
  • Noon Arizona time
  • Google Meet
  • 45 minutes plus Q&A
  • Nothing is sold

What it is

Six fears, four myths and one better way

The Great Retirement Rescue is a 45-minute class, in plain English, on the worries that keep retirees up at night: running out of money, the market roller coaster, the tax bill, a health event, the legacy they leave and the Social Security guess. Robert and Hannah Johnson teach it live, answer questions at the end, and sell nothing.

Would it be unreasonable to invite the people who already ask you about retirement?

Why it works for you

  • Your guests hear the story before anyone talks product
  • They come to the 1:1 already knowing what worries them
  • Every guest is credited to you, and you hear about every step by email
  • Our team does the follow-up, the TaxStatus work and the strategy design with you

How it works

They attend first. Then you reach out.

We want every prospect to hear the Great Retirement Rescue, live or on the recording, before a 1:1. Some won't want to, and that's okay too. Here's the path we've built for your guests.

Would it be unreasonable to invite three people this week?

  1. You share your invite linkBy text, email, social post, signature or QR code.
  2. Your guest registersWe send the Google Meet link and reminders. You get an email with their name and session date.
  3. They attend or watch the recordingYou get an email when they do, and a heads-up if they miss it.
  4. We ask one question"Would a 1:1 be helpful?" Yes, a question first, later, or no. If they say yes, you get an email and a text right away.
  5. You reach out to scheduleBook the follow-up with Robert or Hannah using your follow-up link, or run it yourself and request TaxStatus for them ($24 per person per year).

After the event

From follow-up to recommendations

Book your prospect with us and you stay in the loop at every step. Prefer to go it alone? That's fine too; request TaxStatus for them through ZoopCrew so the plan is built on their real numbers.

1

Follow-up meeting

45 minutes of deep-dive discovery: what's keeping them up at night, their pains, qualified (pre-tax) balances, goals and risks. We start by making sure they know it's okay to say no.

2

The full picture

If it goes well, we schedule the next meeting, offer TaxStatus for their IRS records if they haven't shared them yet, and ask for any statements we need.

3

Strategy Request

With their agreement, we send all of their details over as a Strategy Request, and the plan is designed around the risks, pains and goals we uncovered.

4

Recommendations

We present the plan and our specific recommendations, then invite them to start underwriting for life insurance, an annuity application, or a meeting with a financial advisor for securities decisions. It may take one meeting or several.

What you'll hear from us

An email at every step, a text when it's urgent

Emails to you

  • Your guest registered, with the session date
  • Your guest attended, or missed it and got the recording
  • Your guest wants a 1:1 (also by text), has a question first, or isn't ready
  • No answer after two follow-ups, so a personal call from you is the next step
  • Your prospect booked a follow-up meeting with Robert or Hannah
  • Your prospect sent their details for the TaxStatus request

Someone came straight to you?

If a prospect would rather skip the webinar, that's okay. Book them with your follow-up link, and it's still credited to you. Attending first is just the path that works best.

Please respect a "no." A friendly check-in down the road is fine; a push isn't.

Who to invite

Think of the people who've asked you about retirement

  • Clients and friends who are retired or within about ten years of it
  • Anyone with most of their savings in IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s or a TSP
  • People who mentioned an IRMAA letter, RMDs or a Roth conversion
  • Anyone who asked you when to take Social Security
  • Couples: invite both spouses, since decisions go better when both hear the same thing
  • Your own parents, in-laws and neighbors

Questions

Agent FAQ

What does it cost my guests?

Nothing. The webinar is complimentary, and so is the follow-up meeting.

How will I know someone registered or attended?

You'll get an email when a guest registers through your link, another when they attend or watch the recording, and an email plus a text if they ask for a 1:1.

What if my guest registers without my link?

The form asks how they heard about the event. If they choose "My financial professional or agent referred me" and type your name, we'll still connect them to you. Your link is the surest way.

Do I have to use Robert or Hannah for the 1:1?

No. You can book the follow-up with Robert, Hannah or whoever is free first using your follow-up link, or run it yourself. If you run it yourself, request TaxStatus for them on ZoopCrew.com (Quick Links, then TaxStatus). It's $24 per person per year, paid by you, and the report comes to your TaxStatus back office.

Can a prospect book a 1:1 without attending?

Yes. Attending first is the path that works best, but some people won't want to, and that's okay. Book them with your follow-up link and the meeting is still credited to you.

What is TaxStatus?

A secure service that lets the IRS share a person's tax records with us in about 60 seconds. Each spouse authorizes for themselves with their own email address. It's optional, and "no" is a perfectly good answer; we can work from returns and statements instead.

Can my guests bring their spouse?

Please encourage it. They can register together, or each register through your link.

I lost my links. How do I get them back?

Come back to this page (it's under Quick Links on ZoopCrew.com) and enter your Agent ID, or write to [email protected].
